about

I started writing this song during a late night walk in my hometown in NE Ohio. I finished writing it while on deployment as a the commander of a Transportation Company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, during another late night walk in the desert.

lyrics

V1 I walk along the lonely streets at night when everything is very still //Sometimes my mind starts racing at the sight of a dark & empty window sill //I see the moon, the stars, the autumn sky //I feel the wind upon my face //I see the memories of all my time & choose the ones I will embrace BRIDGE & I feel like a victim of my life gone by // & I feel like a victim of this night //The night breeze is singing me a lullaby but something in the air just isn't right CHORUS & I feel the presence of all the world, yeah, but I know just who I am //& I feel desire to be a better man //& I know this feeling inside of me is one I must embrace /cuz I know I can make this world a better place V2 I think about the things I used to do //About the way it used to be //I think about the people that I loved //& about the ones who hated me //I feel regret about the time I lost //& love I've let just slip away //I never knew just how much it would cost //& I can't waste another day BRIDGE 2 & I feel the weight of my life gone by as I'm walking through this dark & lonely night //But I know I can find the purpose if I try //& I know redemption's within sight REPEAT CHORUS 1 //CHORUS 2 & I feel the presence of all the world, yeah, but I know just who I am //& I feel desire to be a better man //& I know I regret inside of me will disappear without a trace //cuz I know I can make this world a better place

Im now working with several studios both in Ohio & also in Nashville to record as many high quality songs as I can. I write/record both mainstream & Christian music. My songs can mostly be described as rock, with an emphasis on the sounds of the AWESEOME 80’s! ... more
